警方呼籲市民提供被遺棄男童資料

警方急欲會晤一名今日（十二月十日）在西貢被遺棄男童的親人。

中午約十二時，警方接到一名五十歲外籍男子報案，稱於高流灣一條小徑行山時發現一名被遺棄的男童。

該名中國籍男童約一歲大，瘦身裁，短黑髮、圓面形及大眼晴，被發現時身穿藍色及黃色長袖外套、黑色褲及綠色襪，並以一件成人尺碼藍色外套包裹著。男童被發現時，身旁有一個載有小童用品及衣物的紙袋。

男童被發現時沒有受傷，他被送往將軍澳醫院檢驗。

黃大仙警區重案組正調查有關案件。
　
警方呼籲男童的親人或有資料提供的市民，致電二三五二　九四○○向黃大仙警署當值人員提供資料。

Appeal for information on abandoned boy

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a boy who was found abandoned in Sai Kung today (December 10).

Shortly after noon, a 50-year-old expatriate man found the boy at a path of Ko Lau Wan when he was hiking. A report was then made to the Police.

The Chinese boy, who is about one year old, is of thin build and has short black hair, round face and big eyes. He was wearing blue and yellow long-sleeved jacket, black trousers and green socks, and was wrapped by an adult-sized jacket in blue. A paper bag containing some children products and clothes was placed next to the boy.

The District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin District is investigating the case.

Police urged the relatives of the baby or anyone who has information to offer to contact the duty officers of Wong Tai Sin Police Station at 2352 9400.
