2004-01-02 19:20 Police are investigating a murder case in which a woman aged around 40 was killed in Sham Shui Po today (January 2). The case came to light when a 54-year-old male landlord went to a flat on No. 28, Pei Ho Street at about 1. 45 pm to collect rent from a woman tenant. A report was made to the Police when the landlord gained entry to the flat and found that the tenant was lying unconscious on the bed. The victim was certified dead at the scene. Initial investigations revealed that there were bruise marks on the victim's neck. A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (January 3) to ascertain the cause of death. The motive of the attack is still under investigation and no arrest has been made so far. Enquiries by the District Crime Squad, Sham Shui Po, are continuing. |
