2003-01-13 22:23 Victims falling prey to robbery or burglary recently are urged to contact Police in a bid to identifying and reclaiming their lost property. Police made the appeal after the recovery of more than 160 items of suspected stolen goods worth about $2 million in an operation in Tsing Yi and Sham Shui Po on January 11. It is believed that the goods including watches, diamonds, jade ornaments and computers are related to a number of robbery and burglary cases in various locations between 1998 and 2002. Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are proceeding. Anyone who has recently lost valuables is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2761 2342. |
