2004-01-18 10:23 Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O early this (January 18) morning in which a 29-year-old man was killed. Initial enquiries revealed that at about 12.18 am a private car driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling along Mang Kung Uk Road towards Clear Water Bay Road. While turning left into Clear Water Bay Road, the private car rammed against the right rear side of a motorcycle driven by the 29-year-old man heading for Kowloon. In the wake of the impact the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.11 am. Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
