2004-08-15 15:20 Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 78-year-old woman was killed in Aberdeen this (August 15) morning. Shortly after 7.35 am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 43-year-old man was reversing from Ka Wo Street into Tang Fung Street. On reaching near No. 2 Tang Fung Street, it reportedly knocked down a 78-year-old woman who was crossing the road. Sustaining serious injuries on her head, the woman was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital where she was certified dead at 12.13 pm. Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
