2005-11-06 12:15 Police today (November 6) appeal to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a boy who was found missing in Yau Ma Tei. The missing boy, Ding Jun-you, aged 6, was last seen by his family at about 9 pm yesterday (November 5) before he left home for playing in Yung Shu Tau Park. He was reported missing by his family at 3.25 am today after he failed to return home. Standing about 1.1 metres, he weights about 20 kilograms and has a round face, round eyes and black short hair. He was wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, a pair of black trousers and a pair of slippers when missing. Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the boy to contact the police officers of Yau Ma Tei police station on 2388 1141. 2005-11-06 23:12 Police today (November 6) had located two missing children who were reported missing earlier in Yau Ma Tei (YMT). The two missing children, a six year-old boy Ding Jun-you and a 12 year-old girl, were reported missing by their family at about 3.30 am and 12.30 pm today respectively. Initial enquiry revealed that Ding Jun-you and the 12-year-old girl were playing with their friends inside a park at Saigon Street last evening. They were approached by a middle-aged man with some toys. Ding and the 12-year-old girl were later seen left together with the man and failed to return home since then. Police conducted a large-scale search in YMT and Tsim Sha Tsui area since the boy and girl were reported missing. At about 8.30 pm this evening Police had successfully located the two missing children at Saigon Street, YMT. Police are now investigating where they had gone and what had happened to them during the missing period. |
