2005-11-17 10:14 Police are appealing for information on an assault and criminal damage case occurred in Yau Ma Tei yesterday (November 16) in which a 27-year-old man was assaulted and his camera damaged. At about 6.40am yesterday, the man, travelling on board a private car, arrived near a refuse collection station on Man Cheong Street, Ferry Point in Yau Ma Tei. When he alighted from his private car, a man in his twenties and stands about 1.65 meters, of medium build, with short and brown-dyed hair and wearing white shirt with brown vest and blue jeans approached the victim and punched him on his head and body. Three other men also appeared and assaulted the victim bare-handed. One of them snatched the victim's camera and threw it onto the ground. The culprits then fled and disappeared in Ferry Street. The case is being investigated by officers of the District Crime Squad of Yau Tsim.
