2004-10-07 19:15 Police today (October 7) charged 11 men and a woman aged between 15 and 26 with blackmail, claiming to be a member of triad society and trafficking in dangerous drugs. They were arrested on October 5 during an operation codenamed "Ice fire" mounted by Crime officers of Kwai Tsing District against a triad gang active in hawker extortion and psychotropic drugs trafficking activities in Cheung Hang Estate and Cheung Wang Estate. They will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (October 8). |
