| 2002-04-29 16:43 At 1505 hours today (April 29), a call was received from a staff member of the security of the buliding that a suspicious object was found in the buidling at 29 Wong Chuk Hang Road. Police officers sped to the scene for investigations. The building was evacuated while Wong Chuk Hang Road and Yip Kan Street are closed for traffic now. 2002-04-29 16:45 At 1642 hours, the suspicious object was exploded with controlled explosion by Bomb Disposal Officers. 2002-04-29 18:07 The device was confirmed to be a hoax bomb with no explosive being found. Police investigations are continuing. |
