2002-07-16 12:05 At about 9.10 am today (July 16), a staff from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department saw a 42-year-old man throwing a cigarette end on the ground. When the officer stopped the man, the man ran away and a chase was ensued. During the struggle, both of them fell on the ground and sustained injuries. They were both sent to United Christian Hospital for treatment. The man was arrested for assautling and obstructing a public officer from executing duty. Investigations by Divisional Investigation Team, Kwun Tong, are proceeding. |
