Police officers arrived at the scene and located the bodies of an eight-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl. At about 8.30 pm, a report was made by a woman that the bodies of an eight-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl were found inside a nylon bag in a flat in Ting Tai House of On Ting Estate. Police officers arrived at the scene and located the two children, some wounds were found on their bodies. A post-mortem will be conducted later today to ascertain the cause of death. Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun are proceeding. 2002-07-27 08:08 Police arrested a 22-year-old male two-way permit holder suspected to be connected with the case early this (July 27) morning in Tuen Mun. He is being detained for enquiries. 2002-07-27 18:00 The Police reclassified the death of an eight-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl in Tuen Mun last (July 26) night as murder. The bodies of the deceased were found stuffed in a nylon bag in a unit of Ting Tai House of On Ting Estate at about 8.30 pm yesterday. Autopsies conducted today (July 27) revealed the deceased who sustained multiple chop and stab wounds died of serious chop wounds on their heads and stab wounds on their chests. They should have died for about one day. A 22-year-old man who was suspected to be connected with the case was arrested in a street of On Ting Estate at around 2 am today. He will be detained overnight for further enquiries. |
