Shortly before 9 am today (August 3), a light goods vehicle travelling along Tuen Mun Highway towards Kowloon reportedly slowed down near Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan because of traffic congestion. Five other light goods vehicles following from behind failed to stop at once, resulting in a chain collision involving the six vehicles. Two female passengers, aged 18 and 29, who were on board the first and the fourth vehicles respectively, sustained slight injuries and were rushed to the Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment.
