Roy Bailey whose photo appeared on the first issue of OffBeat is a big supporter of the Force newspaper. He claims to have read all 999 issues over the last 40 years!

Roy no longer runs but these days keeps himself fit kayaking on the inland lakes of the Gold Coast, Queensland where he lives in retirement. He recently celebrated his 66th birthday with his family.
