At a lunch with the Honorary Advisors of Police College on September 11, Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung presented certificates of appointment to two new Advisors, former Director of Management Services, Mr Tang How-kong, and former Assistant General Manager, Assessment Development Division, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, Mr Fu Tak-wah. The appointment will last for two years.

Mr Tsang thanked the Advisors for their contributions to the Force, including formulation and delivery of quality training and development programmes, which have laid a solid foundation for the  college's continuous development as a "Centre of Excellence in Police Training and Development".

The Honorary College Advisors and Associates (HCAA) Scheme began in January 2006 to tap the expertise of external experts as Advisors and internal experts as Associates for Police College's training programmes. The new appointment has brought the total number of HCAA to 22, comprising 19 Advisors and three Associates.
