Following the success of a workshop for Junior Police Officers (JPOs) with potential held in April, Kowloon East (KE) Region offered another workshop on "Impromptu Talk and Management Exercise" for 60 JPOs on August 13.

Four senior officers, Chief Superintendent (Human Resources) Cheung Ching, Superintendent (Recruitment) Tam Nga-ching, Chief Inspector (Recruitment) Sum Ching-fun and Chief Inspector (Special Duties) Fang Chi-kin, offered the JPOs valuable advice on how to attend the Extended Interview.

In a practice session, the JPOs practised giving impromptu talks, with their performances evaluated by guest speakers. During a Management Exercise, they demonstrated their competency and teamwork in completing exercises. The JPOs found the workshop very useful for their preparations for the Extended Interview.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Regional Commander Cheng Shuk-chun called on the JPOs to keep on brushing up their skills and knowledge.
