The Director of Marine, Mr Wong Wai-lun, presented Commendation for Bravery 2013 to 14 officers on September 5, for risking their lives in rescuing people at sea.

 

Nine of the officers came from Marine Region - Sergeants (SGT) Tsang Wai-chueng, Wong Chi-kwong and Chan Tin-ho, as well as Police Constables (PC) Fung Man-fai, Lam Nam-hei, Ng Chi-sun, Chan Kwok-wai, Lee Cheuk-yui and Chan Fan-hung. The other officers were PCs Mak Siu-fai, Chan Yat-chun, Li Tsz-chung and Chiu Pit-yan from Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island and SGT Chan Man-kin from Peak Sub-division.
