Yuen Long District (YLDIST) joined forces with non-governmental organisations in organising a series of activities during the current summer holiday to help teenagers boost their physical fitness and resilience, and set positive values.

On July 16, a party of student volunteers, led by YLDIST officers, headed for the West Rail Line Yuen Long Station and spread crime prevention messages as MTR Fight Crime Ambassadors for the summer holiday.

YLDIST has been running a "Resilient Life" project to engage youths since April this year. On July 17, YLDIST officers led "Resilient Life" trainees to participate in an "Escape from Adversity" game for honing their problem-solving ability. Two days later, Yuen Long police volunteers led the trainees of the "Strategy for Joining the Police" and "Resilient Life" projects to take part in tactic training for beefing up their sense of discipline, communication and leadership skills, and most importantly, team spirit.
