In a bid to forge close ties with the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community, Crime Kowloon West (CRM KW) earlier joined Hong Kong Police Volleyball Club (HKPVC) in playing a volleyball match at Police Sports and Recreation Club with the Sargan Group, a local Indian group which organises weekend sports and recreation activities for themselves and their friends.

To show support for the friendly match, KW Senior Superintendent (Crime) Albert Man and HKPVC Chairperson, Catherine Kwan, turned up as players and cheerleaders alongside over 50 Sargan Group members.
