Assistant Commissioner Lui Hon-kwok has succeeded Assistant Commissioner Li Kin-fai as Chairman of Police Sports Council (PSC) after Mr Li stepped down after serving for three years from 2012 to 2015.

Mr Li's tenure saw a rapid development of the activities organised by various police sports clubs in terms of quantity and quality under the Integrated Approach to Physical Fitness and Health Management. With his support, a Force delegation participated in the World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) 2013 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the WPFG 2015 in Fairfax, Virginia, pulling off excellent results.

Mr Lui served as PSC Vice-Chairman from October 2013 to October 2015. He chaired the Organising Committee, which arranged the Force's participation in the WPFG 2015.

On November 10, Commissioner Lo Wai-chung presented a letter of appointment to Mr Lui and a letter of appreciation to Mr Li.
