The first Cyber Security Professionals Awards (CSPA) Scheme, jointly held by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau, the Government Computer Emergency Response Team Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre, has been launched.

The CSPA Scheme aims to commend cyber security practitioners with remarkable performance and encourage four designated sectors, namely banking and finance, transportation, communications and public utilities, to share their cyber security experience and good practices in combating cyber threats.

The four sectors have been invited to nominate practitioners to compete for the awards. Officers are also welcome to invite their work partners of these sectors to join the scheme. The nomination deadline is September 30.
