Yuen Long District (YLDIST) joined hand with the Yuen Long District Fight Crime Committee (YLDFCC) to host the "2016-2017 DFCC Briefing cum YLDIST Good Citizen Award and YLDIST Best Police Award Presentation Ceremony" on August 17.

YLDIST Commander Fok Lok-sang, Chairman of YLDFCC and other celebrities presented prizes to 33 winners of the Best Police Award and three winners of the Good Citizen Award.

The three citizens were recognised for their bravery in assisting the Force to apprehend culprits. The 33 Best Police Officers were selected by YLDFCC from over 100 nominations in appreciation of their professionalism in protecting the life and property of the public from last August to July this year.
