An airport ground staff presented a flag to Chief Inspector (Crime) of Airport District (APTDIST) Ip Chun-wing and other APTDIST officers on August 12 in recognition of their professionalism in arresting another staff member for a theft.

The ground staff made a report to APTDIST in May about money missing from her locker. After investigation, officers found another ground staff stealing money from the informant and promptly arrested the suspect. The suspect pleaded guilty at a magistracy and was fined.
