The fourth Junior Police Call (JPC) Leader Corps Annual Parade took place at the Police College on March 30, with Director of Operations (D OPS) Siu Chak-yee inspecting about 400 teenagers of 14 squads from various districts.


Speaking at the event, Mr Siu praised the participants for their endeavour and outstanding performance. He thanked the stakeholders, including members of the JPC Central Advisory Board, Honorary Presidents in districts, school principals, teachers and police volunteers, for supporting the JPC Leader Corps. He hoped the Corps members would maintain a high level of discipline and responsibility and become fight crime leaders and role models of the youth.


To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the JPC, the Police Band accompanied the parade and turned the JPC theme song into a marching song. After the parade, the Corps members took a group photograph with the guests.


Chairperson of the JPC Central Advisory Board cum Assistant Commissioner (Support) Lam Hiu-tong, Director of the JPC Leader Corps Dr Dominic Chu, Director of the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation Ms Nikki Ng and Chief Superintendent of the Police Public Relations Branch Tse Chun-chung presented trophies, souvenirs and certificates of appreciation to the awardees, school representatives and volunteer trainers respectively. In addition, Mr Siu presented the Most Active Participating District Awards to Tuen Mun District, Yuen Long District and Eastern District; and the Most Active Participating Region Award to Kowloon West Region and New Territories North Region.
