Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) staged the "Tourist Road Safety Campaign" at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station of High Speed Rail on June 28 to disseminate road safety messages to tourists.


Officiating at the opening ceremony of the campaign included the Superintendent of Investigation and Support Division, T KW, Hung Hin-kau; the Station Services Manager - High Speed Rail, Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, the Mass Transit Railway Corporation, Mr Reggie Cheng; the Regional Commander, Kowloon West of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Mr Jacky Lau; the Chairman of the Yau Tsim Mong Road Safety Campaign Organising Committee, Mr Paul Law; the Chairman of the Sham Shui Po Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Wong Kam-choi; the Chairman of the Kowloon City Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Ng Hoi-shan; and the Promotion Officers, Kowloon West of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Ms Tse Suet-sum and Mr Don Li. Two road safety promoters, namely "Siu Siu" and "Sum Sum", were also present to promote the slogan of the campaign, "Crossing the Road Carefully, Visiting Hong Kong Happily".


Meanwhile, T KW officers and all the guests distributed road safety promotional leaflets to tourists at the arrival hall, departure hall and restaurants of the Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
