The Police Public Relations Branch made arrangements for 37 Junior Police Call (JPC) Leader Corps members to visit Singapore for cultural exchange between July 17 and 21.

The exchange programme aimed to reward the JPC members for their outstanding performance in the JPC Leader Corps Annual Parade, to increase their understanding of the Singapore Police Force (SPF), the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) and Singapore's culture, and to broaden their international horizons.

During the programme, the JPC delegates visited SPF units, NPCC's training base as well as various historical buildings and scenic spots. This provided an opportunity for the delegates to better understand the history and development of Singapore.

One of the JPC delegates, Singh Gurnishan, said, "This is the first time for me to visit Singapore. The trip enabled me to learn more about the cultural diversity and the greening programme of the country. It also made me realise that our efforts have paid off."
