Hong Kong Police Force 175th Anniversary Open Day
Cheung Chau Police Station Open Days

To celebrate the 175th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Police Force, Open Days with the theme “Professionalism & Partnership With Community”, hosted by Cheung Chau Police Station, are going to be held between 29th and 31st March.

Cheung Chau Police Station officially opened on 9th November 1913 and was listed as a Grade II Historic Building on 18th December 2009. It carries historic value and displays distinct architectural features. It is the oldest government building in Hong Kong being used for its original purpose.

The opening ceremony of Cheung Chau Police Station Open Days would be held on 30th March. Police officers and Cheung Chau residents would jointly stage for the first time ever a ‘Flash Mob’ for the opening ceremony at Tung Wan Square. The opening ceremony would be broadcasted live on the Hong Kong Police Force Facebook Page.

Multiple game stalls and interactive sessions including self-defence, yoga, and human book sessions would be conducted on the Open Days for everybody to join. Force History and Marine Police equipments and gears would be on display as well. The development of Police Force and the work of Marine Police would be narrated through photographs and exhibits.

Marine Police Headquarters and Cheung Chau Division welcome everybody to join us for the Cheung Chau Police Station Open Days between 29th and 31st March 2019. Join in and witness how the Hong Kong Police have served the Cheung Chau community for 105 years!
