House Rules

  1. The QR Code / Entry Pass should not be used for resale or any commercial purposes;

  2. A valid QR Code / Entry Pass must be presented upon entering the Police College and at any other time when requested by College staff;

  3. All persons entering the Police College are required to comply with the House Rules applicable and follow the instructions of the College staff. If any person violates any of these House Rules or does not follow instructions, the College staff have the authority to refuse admission of the person to the Police College, or request him/her to leave the Police College immediately;

  4. College staff have the authority to inspect any belongings brought with any person entering the Police College. Any person who declines to have his/her belongings inspected will not be admitted to the Police College;

  5. Any person with clothing or accessories carrying political, racial, religious or offensive messages will not be admitted to the Police College;

  6. Any item which may disturb public order or cause a nuisance to other people will not be permitted in the Police College. Items not permitted include, but not limited to: loudhailers, banner, flags, materials bearing slogans/ publicity materials of any kind, petition-related items, edged/pointed tools (e.g. knives, scissors), alcoholic beverages, pets, explosive or flammable substances, chemical and hazardous substances, and other substances/items that may cause injury to other people, damage to structures or government property or disturbance to public order;

  7. Any person who insists on carrying any of the above items will not be admitted to the Police College;

  8. The following behaviors are prohibited in the Police College:-

    (a) Damaging, defacing or altering any structure, government property, sign or equipment;
    (b) Shouting, chanting or producing noises;
    (c) Displaying any flag or banner or throwing any object;
    (d) Distributing promotional materials, souvenirs or give-away items; and
    (e) Any behaviour that may disturb public order, obstruct passages or cause a nuisance to others

  9. Smoking is prohibited in the College area except the designated smoking area (i.e. sitting-out area at Shun Tai Yuen);

  10. Visitors shall remain within the designated areas and shall not enter any areas to which entry is restricted. Under no circumstances will they be permitted to access the parade ground during the event;

  11. Seating of the Police Grand Show is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The Show may consist of action, pyrotechnic and explosive scenes, pregnant women, children and people with cardiovascular diseases should exercise caution;

  12. Visitors are responsible for their personal safety and must follow the instructions of the College staff;

  13. Age and height restrictions are imposed on some of the activities;

  14. Photographs and videos will be taken by the Hong Kong Police Force during the Open Day for record purpose. The photographs and videos taken may be displayed publicly and be used for publicity purposes. The Police College reserves all rights of the usage of the photographs and videos without any prior notice; and

  15. The Hong Kong Police Force reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
