A behavioural guidelines video, Shun Chai's 48 hours, produced by Marine Region captures Gold Award in the 2012 QUESTAR Awards under the Staff Training category. The video outdoes 100 entries from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Singapore, Russia, the United States, the Mainland and Hong Kong.

To strengthen community engagement as well as to enhance internal communications, the Force launches Hong Kong Police Mobile Application. The application can be downloaded by using smart phones. It enables users to gain access to the latest Police information anytime and anywhere. By using the platform of social media, the Force aims to better understand the needs
of society and to provide timely, direct and efficient responses so that community support will be further encouraged.
