Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) is using a mobile service counter, "Police Clinic", for engaging the community and disseminating crime prevention messages. On September 27, KWTDIST invited stakeholders in the district to join the "Police Clinic" in distributing publicity leaflets on prevention of burglary, phone and street scams, and email scam at public transport interchanges, markets and shopping centres.

Among those lending a helping hand at the promotion were Legislative Councillor, Ms Mak Mei-kuen, District Councillor, Mr Chan Siu-man, representatives from the management office of Tsing Yi Estate and Broadview Gardens, their security guards, and members of Junior Police Call and Senior Police Call - Kwai Tsing District Silver Harrier.

In addition, a briefing held in a community hall updated the security guards and representatives on the trend and modus operandi of the prevailing crimes in KWTDIST.

At the briefing, Acting Tsing Yi Divisional Commander Lai Chin-keung presented appreciation letters to the security guards for assisting police in apprehending a woman for committing criminal damage in a tenement building.
