Mr Tsang Wai-hung,
Commissioner of Police, Hong Kong Police Force

Dear Mr Tsang,

I went to Tuen Mun Police Station to help the police with their enquiry of a case of theft in March this year. I am writing to commend, and express my deep gratitude to, the investigating officer Koo Chun-tung, DPC 4523 of District Investigation Team 1, for his professionalism, conscientiousness, attitude and impartiality displayed throughout investigation into the case.

I was dismayed as soon as I came to know that I was allegedly involved in a case of theft in which I had no complicity at all. I had been under inquiry for several times for the sake of the investigation. I had never committed any theft or contravened any law.  Believing that the truth would be revealed someday, I tried my best to be co-operative during the police investigation.  Thanks to Detective Koo's professionalism, the case was detected and my innocence was ascertained.  During the investigation, Detective Koo completely achieved the objectives of keeping the peace and maintaining law and order.  His work greatly boosted my faith in the police.

I once again wish to convey my sincere thanks to Detective Koo, the District Investigation Team 1 of Tuen Mun Police Station as well as the Hong Kong Police.  I would also like to take this opportunity to commend Detective Koo for his expertise and professionalism exhibited during the investigation.

I wish the Commissioner of Police and every member of the Hong Kong Police happiness and good health.

Best regards,

K.W. Tsui
