On March 2, local community leaders and District Council members presented an appreciation letter to Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Commander Tsang Cheung-tat to express their gratitude to officers for being professional and resolute in maintaining law and order during the protests against parallel trading in Yuen Long on March 1.

 

Three days later, the Yuen Long Merchants Association also presented a similar letter to YLDIST, and wished officers injured in the public event a speedy recovery.
