The Police Public Page (PPP) was awarded the Bronze Prize under the Government Departments stream of "Best .hk Website Awards 2015". After being awarded "Special Mention" in the same category in 2013, this was the second time that the PPP won a title in the competition.

The event, which was organised by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited, aimed to provide a platform for local enterprises and organisations to share their best practices for the development of .hk websites.

The category of Government Departments was introduced in 2012. This year, a total of 85 government websites were enrolled for the competition under this category. All entries were evaluated with reference to four judging criteria, namely: overall design and functionality, engagement, use of social media and web accessibility.

The PPP, which was set up in 1996, provides timely information to enhance public understanding of Police work and offers a forum for the public to give information for fighting crime. It had undergone revamping constantly to provide a better browsing experience for users. For browsing, please click to the PPP at www.police.gov.hk.
