The videos produced by the Personnel Wing and the Police College won the Bronze Award under the respective categories of "Staff Training" and "Non-profit Organisations" in the renowned Questar Awards 2016.

The two winning videos are "Readjustment of Police Officers after Operation SOLARPEAK" and "Police College Flying the Force Colours in Police Training and Development", which were produced respectively by the Psychological Services Group (PSG) of the Personnel Wing and the Learning Technologies Division (LTD) of the Police College.

PSG produced the training video in May last year as part of the readjustment programme to help frontline officers address their emotions arising from the prolonged operation, and highlight the positive learning from the ordeal including resilience building, team cohesion, sense of belonging and meaning of police work.

The LTD's video, which was aimed to projecting a positive image of the Force and the Police College, enables overseas and local training partners to better understand the achievements of the Force in training and development issues.

The international Questar Awards honour those professionals who have transformed their creativity, skills and craftsmanship into outstanding vehicles for corporate visual communications. This year there were no Gold or Silver winners in both categories and the Force is the only disciplined service in Hong Kong winning the two prestigious awards.
