The Hong Kong Island (HKI) Regional Sports Day took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 22, which drew the participation of over 700 disciplined and civilian staff. Nine sports games were held, including ball games, running and tug-of-war. After intense competitions, Wan Chai District and HKI Police Tactical Unit (PTU) won the Overall Major and Minor Formation Championships respectively.


Speaking at the function, HKI Regional Commander Kwok Yam-shu encouraged Force members to stay healthy by doing more exercise.


Meanwhile, New Territories North (NTN) Region held its Sports Day on December 2 to promote a healthy lifestyle among Force members. More than 500 participants competed in eight events, such as badminton, ball games, relay run and the newly-introduced fun games, Intelligent Logistics and unicycle competition.


NTN Regional Commander Kwok Ho-fai officiated at some final matches and joined with Deputy Regional Commander Tsang Cheung-tat and District Commanders in a logistics game. The trophies for the Major and Minor Formation Champions went to Yuen Long District and NTN Regional Team B (PTU and Quick Reaction Force) respectively.
