An owner of a renovation company presented banners to Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST) Commander Yuen Yuk-kin, Chief Inspector (Crime) Yin Hiu-yu, the head of Team 1 of the District Anti-Triad Section (DATS) Wan Chun-hong and other officers of the team on January 6 in recognition of their swift action in detecting a wounding case.

After the informant reported to the Force that he was attacked by a masked man with a knife outside his company, officers of DATS SMPDIST conducted a thorough investigation, apprehended the suspect and seized the weapon within 24 hours.
