Ex-Commissioner Mr Lee Ming-kwai was invited to speak to 400 Senior Police Call (SPC) members about wealth management and anti-deception messages at a sharing session jointly organised by the Force's SPC section, Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) and Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) as well as an independent organisation, the Investor Education Centre (IEC), at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on February 28.


Mr Lee talked about his post-retirement financial strategies and healthy living habits in a bid to raise the SPC members' awareness to guard against investment fraud. The SPC members interacted enthusiastically with Mr Lee. Director of Operations Tang Ping-keung, together with IEC General Manager Mr David Kneebone and four members of the SPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) - Messrs Wong Fan-foung, Chan How-chi, Suen Yat-hau and Ng Kai-yeung, attended the event to show their support.


Chairman of SPC CAB Mr Yu Tat-chung appealed to the SPC members to forge a closer partnership with the Force in fighting crime and share their crime prevention knowledge with other elders. Furthermore, representatives from CCB, CPB and IEC explained to the SPC members different types of fraud and offered advice on crime prevention.
