Director of the Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) Lau Chi-wai and Superintendent of the Administration and Support Division of HKPC Chow Ngai-kong attended the 11th International Symposium of Best Police Practices in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from March 13 to 16.

The symposium is a biennial event organised by the Dubai Police for professional police officers from all over the world to share the best practices on modern policing. With "Foreseeing Future of Policing" as the theme for this year, the event attracted the attendance of senior law enforcement officers and academics of more than 15 jurisdictions, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Ms Lau delivered a presentation titled "Developing Emotional Fitness – Hong Kong Police Story" at the symposium to showcase the Force's achievements. The audience found the sharing inspiring, and the two Force representatives made good use of the opportunity to strengthen connection with other law enforcement agencies.
