Regional Commander of New Territories North (RC NTN) Kwok Ho-fai hosted a gathering with local people at the Regional Headquarters on March 3 to introduce policing work to community sectors that did not often get in contact with the Force.

Through the recommendation by 41 officers in the Region, a total of 121 members of the public attended the gathering. They came from all walks of life with diverse socio-economic background, including citizens whom officers met in their daily life and persons who reported crime to the Police.

NTN officers not only introduced the Regional Units and gave crime prevention messages to the participants, but also set up booths showing their operational and traffic equipment. The event helped to build up a positive image of the Force and promote community participation.
