The Junior Police Officers Development Learning Division and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) had recently updated the integrity training materials for newly-promoted non-commissioned officers (NCOs), highlighting misconduct in public office and conflict of interests such as potential conflict of interests, actual conflict of interests and perceived conflict of interests with new case scenarios.

Senior Community Relations Officer of ICAC Mr Charles Ng delivered the updated materials in trial runs in the Station Sergeant Promotion Course and the Sergeant Promotion Course on March 6 and 13. Most of the trainees responded that the new case scenarios fit in with their work environment and could stimulate discussion. In view of the encouraging response, the Force would continue to utilise the updated ethnical training materials.
