Eastern District (EDIST) launched a publicity campaign against throwing objects from height in the vicinity of Nan Fung Sun Chuen in Quarry Bay on March 16. Chai Wan Divisional Commander Fan Chor-fun, together with the Police Community Relations Office of EDIST and Eastern District Councillors Mr Cheung Kwok-cheong and Mr Leung Siu-sun, joined a promotional activity to alert residents not to throw objects out of the window.

Commander of Patrol Sub-unit 2 of Chai Wan Division Wong King-yat gave a talk to explain the trend of throwing objects from height and introduce the measures for preventing and combatting the crime. A number of EDIST Senior Police Call (SPC) members joined the event.

Afterwards, Ms Fan accompanied the District Councillors, SPC members and the guests in distributing leaflets and souvenirs to passers-by to raise residents' awareness against throwing objects from height.
