To promote the Force's social responsibility, the Administration Wing of New Territories North Regional Headquarters co-organised a Blood Donation Day with the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) on March 20 in response to the recent low level of blood stock in Hong Kong.

The number of officers who gave blood on that day hit a record high of 71. The amount of blood collected constituted six per cent of the daily blood collection target of the BTS.
