The Wallis Trophy Competition concluded on March 1 with the participation of 10 police teams. After four weeks of intense competitions, bowlers of Kowloon East (KE) Region captured the trophy while the Traffic Branch and the Police Headquarters their won the first and second runners-up respectively.


To promote lawn bowling, at least one player in each team must be a newcomer to the ball game. The competition attracted the participation of 16 new players this year.


The honourable guest, Regional Commander of New Territories North Kwok Ho-fai, presented awards to the winners. He highly appreciated the players for their team spirit as well as the Police Lawn Bowls Club for their efforts in promoting a healthy lifestyle among Force members.
