To promote pop music and a healthy lifestyle amongst Disciplined Services, the Police Pop Music Club (PPMC) held an Inter-Disciplined Services Live Music Festival at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on March 18.

The PPMC's B, H and K Bands joined hands with two bands from the Correctional Services Department (CSD) as well as a band from the Fire Services Department to present rock songs as well as oldies for a full house of club members and supporters.

Giving thanks to the three guest bands, Chairperson of the PPMC Cheung Tin-yee hoped that the event would foster friendship among the participants. She looked forward to similar exchange opportunities. Manager of the CSD Staff Band Mr Yeung Chun-wai welcomed this innovative concept of musical collaboration and treasured the partnership built among members of the Disciplined Services.

Currently, the PPMC has nine bands and welcomes musicians on all levels to join. Interested Force members can give a ring or send a WhatsApp message to Sergeant Kan Kit-ming on 9097-4465 for details.
