Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region cum Director of Guangxi Public Security Department (PSD) Mr Hu Zhuo led a six-member delegation to visit the Hong Kong Police Force between May 22 and 24.


Mr Hu paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung to exchange views on the maintenance of law and order in Guangxi and Hong Kong respectively, and to conduct in-depth discussion about the enhancement of co-operation of the two law enforcement authorities. The visit had laid a solid foundation for the long-term collaboration of Guangxi and Hong Kong in handling bilateral security matters.


Furthermore, Mr Hu visited the Crime Wing to consolidate their working relationship. He discussed with crime officers on the strategies of combating cross-boundary crime with a view to facilitating co-operation in criminal investigation. Subsequently, the delegation visited the Operations Wing, the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters, Hong Kong Island (HKI) Regional Command and Control Centre as well as Crime HKI Regional Headquarters.
