A talk on technology crime and telephone deception was held for 21 third-year students and four teaching staff of Chu Hai College of Higher Education by the Police Community Relations Office and District Crime Squad 1 (DCS 1) of Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) and the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) on April 26.

Sergeant Ho Car-lin of CSTCB explained to the audience the relevant legislation, the knowledge of computers and social media as well as ways to prevent cyber crime. Afterwards, Inspector Wong Wing-hung of DCS 1 cited some cases to illustrate how to prevent technology crime and telephone fraud. The talk was well received by the students and the teaching staff.
