The Force Annual Shooting Competition 2017 took place at the Police Headquarters on May 13, with over 300 regular and auxiliary members pitting against one another in pistol and revolver shooting.


The police shooters competed in the categories of Uniform Branch (Team/Individual), Crime (Team/Individual), Open Pistol (Team/Individual), Open Revolver (Team/Individual), Auxiliary (Team/Individual), Fung Siu-yuen Cup (Major Formation Relay/Individual) and Tang How-kong Cup.


Deputy Commissioner (Management) (DCP(MAN)) Chau Kwok-leung, ex-DCP Fung Siu-yuen, former Senior Assistant Commissioner Tang How-kong, Commandant of Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force Yang Joe-tsi and other senior management officers attended the event to cheer on the contestants.


Following rounds of nail-biting contest, the Auxiliary Police clinched the Fung Siu-yuen Cup in Major Formation Relay while Police Constable (PC) Au Pak-shing won the Cup in Individual Category. Meanwhile, Inspector Lau Ka-sing claimed the Tang How-kong Cup. The champions of the other categories are as follows:
