The annual Display of the Mace Ceremony was held at the Police College on June 15 in memory of the late Sir Shiu-kin Tang.

Officiating at the ceremony, Commissioner Lo Wai-chung thanked Sir Shiu-kin's family for their continuous support to the Force. Two silver maces were placed on a traditional stack of drums. A minute of silence followed and then the Police Band played a selection of music to conclude the ceremony. Sir Shiu-kin's family members, Mr and Mrs Richard Tang and Ms Yvonne Tang, were present at the ceremony.

Donated by Sir Shiu-kin's family as a symbol of his close relationship with the Force, the two silver maces are used by the Police Band at major official functions.
