The Singapore Police Force (SPF) - Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) - Macao Judiciary Police (MJP) Inter-forces Games took place in Singapore between October 6 and 9 to strengthen friendship and co-operation among the three police forces. A total of 58 HKPF athletes competed with their Singaporean and Macanese counterparts in badminton, dragon boat and soccer matches.


Commissioner Lo Wai-chung, Chairman of the Police Sports Council (PSC) Mr Lui Hon-kwok and Vice-chairman of the PSC Mr Cheuk Hau-yip were on hand to cheer on the HKPF athletes.


After a series of hotly contested matches, the HKPF athletes defended the championship in the badminton and soccer events, and also took the first runner-up place in the dragon boat competition.


The leaders, officers and athletes of the tripartite forces attended a celebration dinner on October 8. Mr Lo, together with Commissioner of SPF Hoong Wee Teck and Director of the Judiciary Police Training School of MJP Suen Kam Fai, thanked the visiting senior officials and athletes for supporting the Games. Mr Hoong presented a trophy of the overall champion of the Inter-forces Games to the HKPF.


The HKPF delegation was thankful to the Singaporean host for their hospitality, and welcomed the two teams to join the next Games to be held in Hong Kong in 2018.
