The Police Adventure Club (PAC) sent a team of four athletes to participate in the Trailwalker. They hit the finishing line of the MacLehose Trail within 20 hours, and secured the third runner-up position amongst 64 teams from disciplined forces and other government departments.

The four athletes of PAC were Chua Po-hoi, Fung Chi-ho, Chan Yip-sang and Chow Yiu-shuen. They did well not solely because of the training they had conducted, but also the strong backup they received from the PAC support team through the provision of food and equipment as well as medical care at various checkpoints to maintain the athletes' best condition. The team captain, Mr Chua, said, "We are glad to have finished the walk in 20 hours and have raised money for the needy. We are grateful for the staunch backing of the support team and we definitely could not have done this without their assistance.''

The participating teams were required to complete the 100-kilometre MacLehose Trail, which ran through rugged terrain, covering Ma On Shan, Tate's Cairn, Lion Rock and Tai Mo Shan, within a 48-hour time limit. The fund raised would be allocated to support poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia.
