President of Management Committee of Khalsa Diwan (Hong Kong) Sikh Temple Mr Santokh Singh presented certificates of appreciation to officers of Yau Tsim District (YTDIST), including Assistant District Commander (Administration) Mohammad Khan, on November 12 as a token of thanks for their assistance to the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community.

On behalf of the Sikh community, Mr Singh also commended five Sikh graduates of Project Gemstone who have joined the Force. He encouraged the officers to act as role models to serve Hong Kong society. To date, 13 members of the project are admitted to the Force and other disciplined services.
